The foreign-born (FB) population increased from 2,291 in 1970 to 12,975 in 2010. That was an increase of 466.3 percent. The foreign-born share changed from 4.4 percent to 11.1 percent.
The share of the overall population that was native-born (NB) increased by 107.5 percent.

The first chart below shows the three population change factors for three periods adjusted for annual average amounts. Domestic migration (NDM) was the primary factor in added population in the first two periods, replaced by B-D in the most recent period.
The second chart shows the same data but with an adjustment to reflect births to immigrants shifted to NIM. In it, NIM replaced B-D as the largest contributor of population increase in the most recent period.
